During the Month of March, Nominate Your HAWC Hero

Please help the Health and Wellness Coalition (HAWC) for Runnels County recognize those who go above and beyond to advance health and wellness in Runnels County.  We call them HAWC Heroes. Nominations may include anyone in the community who has exemplified leadership, service and a heart for promoting wellness and healing.  The Heroes we aim to recognize will include advocates for behavioral health and well-being as well as physical health.

 We intend to recognize at least two people each year. (See PDFs below for further information.) One will be someone who has improved the health and wellbeing of Runnels County residents over a recent period. In the future this will usually be for the year prior to the recognition, but for this year it can be for 2022 or for the time of COVID. Another person will be recognized for their service over any period, be it during a disaster or over the course of a year, a career or a lifetime of service.  You may nominate any person who assisted in our county either as a professional or a volunteer. So please, help us recognize the hearts of this community!
